Terms of service & privacy policy

TERMS OF SERVICE

Marine Parade Last updated: May 2026

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Marine Parade website and the purchase of products from Marine Parade ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order or browsing our site, you agree to these terms. Marine Parade is owned and operated by Sian Richardson, based in British Columbia, Canada.

2. Products

Marine Parade sells handmade jewellery and accessories. Because our products are made by hand using natural and semi-precious materials, each piece will have slight variations in colour, size, and finish. These variations are not defects — they're part of what makes each piece unique. Product photos are as accurate as possible, but screens vary and colours may differ slightly in person.

3. Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you've provided is accurate and that you're authorised to use the payment method submitted. We accept payment via [payment methods — e.g. Stripe, PayPal, etc.]. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in the case of pricing errors or suspected fraud.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship from the Sea to Sky, BC, Canada. We currently ship within Canada only.

Please allow up to one week for your order to be packed and dispatched. Once your order is with the carrier, estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed—delays can happen once a parcel is in transit and are outside our control.

You're responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Marine Parade is not liable for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect address information.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Because our products are handmade to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged or defective. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including product photos, descriptions, branding, and design — is owned by Marine Parade and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Marine Parade's liability for any claim arising from the purchase of our products is limited to the amount paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our site or purchase of our products after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
